Feature Guide: Team Compass

Research to steer your team in a common direction.

The Team Compass allows teams to self-assess their performance against key principles, or objectives that the organization want to achieve. An Admin or Squad Captain creates a survey which contains a default set of eight assessment questions. Participants join and rate each statement on a scale of 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree). Each member saves their responses individually.

Once all responses are in, the survey leader can reveal the results, which generates a radar chart visualizing the average score for each question. This provides a clear, at-a-glance view of the team's perceived strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, Admins can navigate to the Analytics page to view these radar charts for multiple squads and use the "Analyze with AI" feature to receive an AI-generated summary and actionable recommendations for improvement.

Key Benefits

  • Understand how your organization can improve (for software developers, this can also be used for a team's agile maturity).
  • Identify common strengths and weaknesses.
  • Use AI to get actionable recommendations.
  • Track maturity improvements over time.
